Weights by YoYo Technology

Flywheel Inertia Replaces Iron

For more than 20 years YoYo™ Technology Inc. has engineered innovative exercise machines for the best athletes and choosy users who demand the most from their efforts. Any YoYo™ product uses light-weight flywheel(s) rather than iron, as a source to offer resistance or power to feature unlimited, accomodated concentric resistance while allowing for eccentric overload.

Brute Power using YoYo™

The original YoYo™ patented, inertial flywheel technology uses human power to convert and store energy during coupled concentric and eccentric actions of any exercise. Using the finest materials and components, and despite the impressive power that can be generated, our products are simple, reliable and safe to operate. YoYo™ requires minimal maintenance and no installation assistance.

Astronaut

Lifting Weights in zero-g

NASA astronauts who habitated on Skylab, a space station orbiting the Earth from 1973 to 1979, experienced muscle loss. Resistance exercise is clearly the best method to build muscle, yet challenging in space. The problem to “lift weights” in space to combat muscle atrophy, was eventually solved through pioneer research by YoYo™ inventors Drs. Berg and Tesch of the Karolinska Institute.
